Bloomfield-Based Cigna Group Reports Strong Second Quarter Results, Raises 2026 Financial Outlook

Bloomfield's The Cigna Group reported second quarter 2026 total revenues of $71.7 billion, a 7% increase, and raised its 2026 outlook for adjusted income from operations.

 

Shareholders' net income for the quarter was $1.7 billion, or $6.29 per share, compared with $1.5 billion, or $5.71 per share, for second quarter 2025, primarily reflecting growth in Cigna Healthcare.

 

Adjusted income from operations for the quarter was $2.1 billion, or $7.78 per share, compared with $1.9 billion, or $7.20 per share, for second quarter 2025. The company's 2026 outlook for adjusted income from operations increased to at least $30.45 per share.
