SeriousFun Children's Network, a Norwalk-based nonprofit serving children with serious medical conditions, has appointed Christian Ercole, Chief Legal Officer of Prismic Life, to its Board of Directors.

Founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, SeriousFun operates 30 camps and programs that have delivered 2.2 million life-changing experiences to children and families across more than 50 countries since 1988. The camps are specifically designed for children with medical challenges, providing expert medical care on-site, adaptive programming, and a safe, supportive environment where kids can connect, build confidence, and have fun without limitations, always free of charge. Children served include those living with rare diseases, chronic illnesses, and other significant health challenges, and many camps also offer programs for families and siblings, creating shared experiences and support.

Ercole brings experience in insurance, reinsurance, and corporate law to the board. Before joining Prismic Life, he served as Vice President in Prudential Financial's International Reinsurance business.
